Boy, do we have apples!

We made and bottled applesauce tonight. And I made an applesauce cake with caramel icing (Mmmmmm, soooo good....I got third place in a Dutch oven Dessert cook-off with that cake!)

We're going to make and bottle apple butter, apple pie filling, apple chunks and lots and lots of applesauce.

It's a lot of work....but worth it!

Oh...and just for TG (and in honor of the International Talk Like a Pirate Day)....

Me buckos it be fun writin' in me blog and readin' what you all be up to. And I must say it be fun talkin' like a pirate. I think I might just get t' hang o' this!

But now I need t' go put t' baby t' bed. So, me buckos have a great day tomorrow!
